During this foundation release, the application stores account name, email address, password hash, optional academic profile information, login-attempt records and security audit events.
Research documents and AI processing
Document upload and AI processing are not enabled in this release. Before those features launch, this notice must identify the AI providers, data sent to them, retention terms, processing locations and available user controls.
Purpose and access
Account data is used to provide authentication, maintain the workspace, protect accounts and support administration. Access should be limited to authorized personnel with a legitimate operational need.
Retention and deletion
Define and publish retention periods for account records, security logs, backups and future research documents before accepting public users. A verified account deletion workflow is not yet included.
